8(a) STARS II

ADSI was awarded the GSA STARS GWAC Contract on August 31st, 2011, which was renewed in August 2016 through August 30, 2021.  The new 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS II) GWAC is a small business set-aside contract for technology solutions.  Our functional areas include:

• Functional Area 1 – NAICS 541511 – Custom Computer Programming Services
• Functional Area 2 – NAICS 541512 – Computer Systems Design Services
• Functional Area 4 – NAICS 541519 – Other Computer Related Services

Government Agencies can benefit from 8(a) STARS II in the following ways:

• Receive credit towards their 8(a) socioeconomic goals
• Easily issue SOLE SOURCE task order up to the 8(a) threshold of $4M without protest
• Award solution-based contracts allowing for combination of hardware, software and IT services
• Task Orders under 8(a) STARS are non-protestable except for scope, maximum order limitation or period of performance
• Section 803 is satisfied
• Lower user fee of .75%
