Aligned Development Strategies, Inc. (ADSI) is certified not only for it’s quality in process (CMMI Level 3) and work (8 (a) STARS II), but also as a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). As an SDB and MBE, ADSI recognizes the need for the traditionally underrepresented to participate in the economy at all levels. ADSI provides top-notch management consulting and IT services that are integrally related to our skills as software engineers. Looking toward the future of this industry, we see that it is critically important that ADSI works to bring state-of-the-art technical skills to people from traditionally underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds as these communities often lack access to quality training and jobs. At ADSI we pride ourselves on our commitment to technical skills training both in the U.S. and in international locales such as the Caribbean. We strive to administer dependable services with integrity, which for us must include an aspect of social responsibility.
Black Men Code (BMC)
ADSI is excited to partner with BMC to aid its mission of providing stellar technical education opportunities to high-school and undergraduate students across the United States from underrepresented backgrounds. We work extensively in consulting and assistive implementation capacities to help bring BMC’s curricula and programs to life. Our recent work with BMC has included an initiative to train technology specialists within the Atlanta Public School system and to provide curricula for a multi-week undergraduate web-development seminar. BMC works hard to bring real, comprehensive change to the lives of underrepresented individuals with a desire to close the skills gap in emerging technologies; ADSI’s hope is that through our partnership with BMC in events and special programming we too can contribute to this vision.
