Santeon’s Health Integration Platform (HIP)™

Santeon’s Health Integration Platform (HIP)™ is a comprehensive suite of modules that reduces the impact of upgrading legacy systems to achieve the goal of total Healthcare application integration - within a HIPAA compliant environment. HIP? is comprised of several modules that implement standardization of information exchange in a seamless integration with existing legacy systems with minimum disruption. HIP? is intended to solve more than the HIPAA transaction requirements, it is the basis of ADSI’s healthcare services to smoothly interface with Independent Software Vendors’ healthcare software solutions and integrate these solutions with current web-enable solutions increasing user access, minimizing disruption to existing legacy systems, and thereby protecting the investment in these legacy systems while advancing the healthcare technology into 21st century capability.

Santeon’s Health Integration Platform (HIP)™ includes the following four modules:

The HIP Core consists of :

  • EDI/XML Transaction Server ( See figure 1 below)

HIP Process Automation (HIPpa)™

This module is designed to enable users to automate the process flow of documents based on their business workflow and to control the degree of automation that is implemented. HIPpa™ offers process efficiency that is adaptable to each client’s unique environment.

HIP Paper Transmission ( HIPpt)™

Paper documents may be part of the process requirements. The paper transmission function is to handle paper documents by scanning them and converting them into electronic format. After being scanned, the documents to get defined through the HIPA Core (the Editor module) to identify their format and integrate them with the defined workflow process.

HIP Central Management (HIPcm)™

This workflow management tool is used to implement the client’s unique business workflow and the management and monitoring of it. This tool manages and controls the entire process
