Project work is significantly different from other ongoing work efforts, yet most project team
members are not adequately prepared to participate in them. Intense projects need the active
support of all team members. This workshop provides team members with exposure to the
minimum five core-skills which are essential in supporting the team and the project manager in
any medium to large scale project.
Participants gain exposure to approaches that are consistent with our practitionerÂs
workshops. Rather than from the perspective of the project leader, this workshop focuses on
the team memberÂs point of view - why project management is essential, what their role in the
project should be and how to provide the necessary project-related information to all
participants.
This workshop covers the fundamental tools and techniques needed by team members of
medium-sized to large projects: those lasting three to twelve months in duration. It can also be of
value to beginning project leaders and their customers. While the content is not as "industrial
strength" as our other programs, it presents supportive, compatible methods that can increase the
effectiveness of anyone involved with project work.
